Can You Say Heaven?

We had the BEST trip over the kids fall break.  We went with the Zuckerman's to Atlantis Resort in The Bahamas.  It was a wonderful trip.  It was a near perfect trip.

 These pictures speak for themselves.  We were jamming with musicians at the market place.  You will not see Le in these pictures.  He was very embarrassed by our behavior.

The grounds at Atlantis were incredible.

 Le found a buddy who worked at the grill.  His name was Prince and he WAS a Prince.  He was so good to Daniel and Ben who hung out with him all weekend.  By the end of our stay the kids were taking orders busing tables DJing in the music booth.  Prince would pay the kids in cookies, sodas, and hot dogs.  (Could life GET any better for the boys??)  Prince spent a lot of time teaching Daniel how to catch birds.

 But THREE birds.  We will be starting our series of Avian flu shots next week........I wonder how this is going to go over in Ocean Reef?

 The boys had a grand time killing their balloon animals.  They were stomped.  Shut in elevator doors.  You name it.

Poor Erica lost the diamond out of her engagement ring.  She said she couldn't imagine losing it in a more beautiful place.  We've been best friends for 25 years.  Cheers to 25 more!

Grammy and Grandpa Visit SC

Len and Jaye came for their fall visit.  We enjoyed having them and wished they could have stayed longer. 

We took Jaye out for a belated birthday celebration.

 Last year we made a pie with the apples we picked.  Le had so much fun he decided it should become a tradition. SSOOOOO, Le, Jaye and I made a pumpkin AND an apple pie.  Thanks Jaye.

 We took a ride up to Table Rock and hiked.  The weather and scenery was beautiful.

Ocean Reef Friends Come For A Visit

We were lucky to have our friends from Ocean Reef come for a visit.  The weather did NOT cooperate.  Even though we didn't get to take our normal trek to the lake we made the best of it.  It was fun to have them down.  We look forward to visiting them in the spring.

The Carlson Family Travels South

This photo got out of order but I wanted to make sure it got included.

We were so excited to have the Carlson's travel south for a visit.  We made good use of the great weather and spent some time at the lake.  Thanks guys for a great visit.  We love you lots!

Le and Daniel's Birthday Party.

We combined Le and Daniel's birthday parties this year.  We rented a pontoon and took ten kids to the lake for the day.  It was a great group of kids who all got along well and it was a great party.  I've posted a lot of pictures and I hope I've included everyone.  Special thanks to Barbar and Kevin who came with us and helped in all of the fun!

First Day of School 2010

I love posting this picture every year.  I like to look back and see the changes.  Le is starting 7th grade and Daniel is in Fourth.  Don't the years fly?
