Summers Here!

After the Zuckermans headed to the beach we headed to the lake. This was our first real outing to the lake this year. It was so nice to be back. We didn't get home until after 10pm Sunday night. Dan living the life.

Blair wake boarding. Blair was BENT on learning to wake board. She spent over two hours Saturday trying and at least two hours Sunday. But she did it! The poor girl had blisters on her hands and she still would not give up.

Swim Team Time Of Year

We are three meets into the season already. I don't have any great pictures but here are the ones I have. Daniel shows a lot of potential for swim team. He's been moved to anchor in a few of the the relays which is exciting. Dan waiting anxiously to start his leg of the relay.

Le Graduates from Fifth Grade

It's hard to believe but Le is officially a middle school er. He had a 5th grade graduation which was wonderful fun. We were so proud of his awards. He received a trophy for having straight A's since first grade. He was given the Physical Fitness Wall of Fame Award. And last but not least he was awarded the Presidential Academic Award of Excellence. I hope we can keep this momentum through to college! Le and his WONDERFUL teacher Mrs. Winchester.

Oh Lord, we are tired!

We had a FUN weekend. The Cub Scouts went to Ripley's Aquarium to "Sleep With The Sharks".(Sandy "Slept With The Sheraton". We take turns. He did the sleep over on the USS Yorktown.) The boys and I arrived at the Aquarium at 8pm and met up with the rest of the gang. The boys had a two hour scavenger hunt until 10pm. It gave us all plenty of time to explore everything. From 10pm-12am was a short class on sharks, snacks, along with t shirt painting. Lights out was at 12:30am.............And it took until 1am for all of the boys to settle down. We slept in the tunnel with the sharks swimming overhead. It was SO neat. We were up at 6:30am for Breakfast and out the door by 8am. The kids and the adults had a great time. It was fun being in the aquarium all alone. It was sorta Night At The Museum-esk. But we are TIRED. Christie, Tina, and myself portraying middle aged Charlie's Angels........

Mrs. Tina told Dan she had a full size air mattress and he could sleep on it with her if I didn't mind. I said it was fine. Dan never batted an eye, and replied, "No thanks Mrs. Tina, I have a girlfriend." (What are we going to do with him?)

Conservatory Updates

We did the wagon wheel design on the floor. I LOVE it! The light fixture is another addition. It is made of petrified wood.

Kitchen Updates

We aren't done yet! I have to finish the tile on the back splash, finish the ceilings, paint, etc. But it's coming together. We've taken the railing out between the den and kitchen and extended the step.
